Under expert guidance, Worldwide Yoga Alliance has developed WWYA Test for the purpose of establishing initial Yoga Registry Credentials with WWYA. WWYA Test is provided exclusively as computer-adaptive test. Applicants who successfully write the exam are eligible for registration and upgradation, provided they have met all other requirements.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to confirm before applying that all eligibility conditions and prerequisites are met. Please make sure to contact office if you need any clarification. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
For WWYA Test, an applicant should:
- Be a graduate from a School registered with WWYA, or
- Fulfil Grand-parenting criteria for Yoga Teacher Registry, or
- Fulfil Conversion criteria for Yoga Teacher Registry
Taking the WWYA Test
WWYA Test can be taken at WWYA appointed locations or online.
How to register
- Meet all of WWYA’s eligibility requirements to take the WWYA Test.
- Submit an application for registration to WWYA.
- Register and pay for the WWYA Test.
Attention: Please make sure that you check your spam and junk folders as it is possible that candidate correspondence from WWYA could automatically go to one of these folders.
If you fail the WWYA Test, you can apply again for your writing the exam again.
Once your completed WWYA Test application form is received, you’ll be allotted validity dates. You must test within the validity dates. These validity dates cannot be extended for any reason. Appointments may be made up to one week in advance.
WWYA Test Language
As of now, WWYA Test is given only in English language.
Candidates who would like to test internationally are required to pay an additional international scheduling fee of $150. Candidates may schedule online and pay the fee.
