200 Hours Registered Yoga Teacher Training – Hybrid Program

Worldwide Yoga Alliance is the FIRST YOGA REGISTRY in the WORLD to recommend and accept online teaching of certain topics from specific Educational Categories in Registered Yoga Teacher Training courses. These hours spent on online education, as per recommendations, will be credited towards the total training hours of the said Registered Yoga Teacher Training courses.

Approved Member Yoga Schools will have the choice of offering the recommended part of their programs online or through distance learning, as per WWYA recommendations.

Schools registered with Worldwide Yoga Alliance may use the credential Registered School of Yoga (RSY). A school whose curriculum satisfies or exceeds our minimum training standards may apply to register as an RSY. Yoga schools can receive varying levels of designation based on the levels and types of training they provide. Registration with WWYA acknowledges that the Yoga Teacher Training meets standards for curriculum and that training is conducted by experienced instructors.

Students who complete their training from an RSY are eligible to register with WWYA as a Registered Teacher of Yoga (RTY). Worldwide Yoga Alliance reserves the right to suspend or revoke a RSY registration if the school no longer meets RSY standards.
